General Engine, Water Pump, and Generator Set Safety Precautions
The engine and generator set should be placed on a stable surface, and should be checked regularly for movement or tipping.
No weeds or other foreign objects should be present at the engine air inlet, to prevent them from being drawn in and damaging the cooling fan.
Do not use the machine indoors; engine exhaust gas is harmful to human health.
Do not allow children or unrelated personnel to approach, to avoid injury.
Keep away from flammable materials, as the muffler is at high temperature, the exhaust is at high temperature, and sparks may be produced at the generator carbon brush area.
Gasoline is a highly flammable substance. When refueling, shut down the engine, strictly prohibit open flames, prevent spillage, and wipe up any spilled fuel promptly.
Do not use the generator in damp places or outdoors in rainy or snowy weather.
Do not touch high-temperature parts such as the muffler and exhaust outlet that can burn the hands.
After changing the lubricating oil, cover the oil filler opening tightly to prevent oil splashing out and causing burns or soiling clothes.
For two-stroke engines, prepare the fuel mixture according to the ratio specified in the manual.
For four-stroke engines, frequently check the lubricating oil level.
Use the specified type of lubricating oil as required by the manual.
As the engine has an electrical circuit, do not wash it with water or let water enter it.
Do not touch the generator with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
The generator should be reliably grounded before use.
It is strictly forbidden to connect the generator to the commercial power grid.
The generator can only operate as a single unit; it is strictly forbidden to connect it with another generator.
Output lines, plugs, sockets, etc. should be well insulated and free of damage to prevent electric shock.
Do not connect electrical appliances to the generator before use.
Disconnect any electrical appliances in use before stopping the engine.
After stopping the engine, close the fuel switch to prevent fuel leakage.
When using the engine in dusty places, frequently clean the air filter element.
When the engine is not used for a long time, drain the fuel from the carburetor, remove the spark plug, drop a few drops of lubricating oil into the spark plug hole, pull the starter handle several times, and then retighten the spark plug. It is best to use fresh fuel when putting it back into use.
If you do not have specialized knowledge and experience, have the inspection and adjustment of the machine handled by professional personnel; do not handle it yourself.
